Autresponders are special programs that can help Internet marketers immensely. It will definitely cut off a lot of your working time, as you can disseminate information in just one or few clicks. But not all are able to master their autoresponders.

1. Send e-mail messages to your subscribers only. As much as possible, don't send any message to those who don't belong to your mailing list, if you don't want to get labeled as a spammer. You can verify these e-mail addresses in your list. If you find something suspicious, don't hesitate to ask the e-mail owner if he has subscribed to you or not.
2. Offer things for free. This is how you can make use of your autoresponders to the utmost. Your subscribers will definitely appreciate it if you can send them some good free stuff, such as ebooks or reports. You can even add a link to your site to any of your freebies, just a form of added marketing. Definitely, they will look forward to your next e-mail.
3. Provide a strong subject line. Along with the "To" address, your subject matters greatly. It's better to stick to a headline that doesn't sound so spammy. It may also help if you can lessen or get rid of sales pitch in your subject. This is to entice your subscribers to eventually read the entire e-mail.
4. Give them a good tease. If you're in for something big, such as launching of a new product, it may be a great idea if you can provide a teaser to your subscribers. Make sure that you specify when you can provide them updates. This is one of the most excellent ways in getting them excited and participative.
