Here we are again. We will jump right into part 3 of "Making Money Online Using Automated Systems." We left off with seven key points that any quality marketing system, that you are looking to use to make money online, should have. The first part of the equation, if you will, is to generate. Generate traffic to your system. This is often easier said than done. Many people can waste countless hours and rack up some pretty big pay per click bills if this is done incorrectly.
Location, location, location is a famous saying when it comes to real estate. Traffic, traffic and more traffic is of the same importance when talking internet terms. You can have the most technical sales converting system known to man, but if that system has no traffic it is useless. There are a two basic types of traffic when I look at the world of internet marketing. First, general traffic, this is similar to a seven lane highway winding through a major U.S city. Along the side of the freeway you will see billboards that advertise a certain product or service. These advertisers are paying a premium based upon the volume of traffic along that highway. They understand that more traffic equals more people seeing the advertisment which means a higher number of potential customers. While this is a good way of marketing and can create success it takes a lot of traffic to get the results desired.
The other, and in my opinion the best traffic, is targeted traffic. This type of traffic markets to a specific category of people that are actually looking for or can use what you offer. For example, as a person relocates to a new area a doctor might market directly to people that have moved into a new city. The doctor knows that more than likely if the person is new to the area they will need a local doctor. While the quantity of people being advertised to is less the reality is the quality of the potential consumer is a better quality prospect.
The goal is generate targeted traffic to a related site that will capture their information and place them into your automated marketing system.
