How To Advertise Using Word Of Mouth?

Word-of-mouth is one of the oldest way yet still effective way of advertising. Using word-of-mouth to advertise is not easy if you don't know very many people, if this is your case then maybe you should start with paid advertising first. That way word-of-mouth can generate on its own when people start talking about whatever you are advertising whether it be your web site or landscaping business etc... On the other hand if you are outspoken kind of person with lots of friends and relatives then this is a good way of getting free advertising by word of mouth. What you need to do is called networking start letting everyone know about your services, get with people that are in the same area of expertise and communicate with them ask them questions: advertise for them and they will do the same in return.

There are different techniques that you can use this lady once told me that a good way to advertise is to make t-shirts and give them out to bums so they will wear them and advertise for you. Now I can say that I have never tried that and I kind of doubt that that will bring you many customers. You just need to keep a clear mind and try different things if its not working for you then your doing the wrong things. Don't be afraid to experiment with different advertising techniques if you try enough eventually something will work for you. Find what works for you through trial and error.
